Nebraska Mini Mart en Tampa Anuncia su Cierre para el 30 de Marzo
Después de siete años sirviendo al vecindario de Seminole Heights en Tampa, Nebraska Mini Mart cerrará sus puertas el 30 de marzo de 2025. Los dueños compartieron la noticia en sus redes sociales.
“Mientras crecemos, evolucionamos y evaluamos nuestros negocios, hemos tenido que tomar decisiones difíciles – siempre manteniendo a nuestros empleados como prioridad principal,” dijeron los propietarios a ABC Action News.
Ubicado en un terreno de acre y medio entre Nebraska y East Louisiana, este lugar comenzó como una pequeña tienda de esquina en los años 50. Con el paso del tiempo, fue testigo de la transformación del vecindario.
Cuando Proper House Group se hizo cargo de la propiedad vacía en 2018, la convirtieron en un punto de encuentro al aire libre. Hoy cuenta con canchas de bochas, pistas de shuffleboard y un patio con sombra donde la gente se reúne para comer y divertirse.
La comida es sencilla pero deliciosa – sabrosas hamburguesas a la parrilla, papas fritas crujientes y pollo frito. También sirven cerveza fría y vino para los que quieren tomar algo.
Los dueños del lugar, Ferrell Alvarez y Ty Rodriguez, manejan varios restaurantes populares en la zona. Su restaurante principal, Rooster & The Till, recibió un reconocimiento de Michelin por su excelente comida.

When Proper House Group took over the empty property in 2018, they turned it into an outdoor gathering spot. Today it features bocce courts, shuffleboard lanes, and a shaded patio where people hang out to eat and have fun.
The food is straightforward but delicious – tasty burgers cook on the grill, alongside hot fries and fried chicken. They also serve cold beer and wine for those looking to grab a drink.
The place’s owners, Ferrell Alvarez and Ty Rodriguez, operate several popular restaurants in the area. Their main restaurant, Rooster & The Till, got a nod from Michelin for its excellent food.
