This weekend, Tampa covers the full range, from cultural celebration and conservation science to a night out with wildlife and live music. The Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival brings free, family-friendly performances to the waterfront. Water Days invites curious minds of all ages to explore the science behind Tampa Bay's future. And when the sun goes down, ZooBrews turns the zoo into the city's wildest after-hours party.

Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival

  • What: A vibrant celebration of heritage and culture
  • When: Saturday, March 28, 2026, from noon to 7 p.m.
  • Where: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa
  • Cost: Free admission; vendors will have items available for purchase

The Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival is an event that honors Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders through a variety of customs and traditions. This year's festival will feature live performances showcasing various cultures from Asia and the Pacific Islands. An array of traditional foods, authentic goods, and displays will showcase the vibrancy of AAPI culture. The Asian Pacific Cultural Festival combines music, dance, and community in a festival atmosphere.

5th Annual Water Days

  • What: Hands-on science celebrating Tampa Bay's water future
  • When: Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Museum of Science and Innovation, 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa
  • Cost: Included with museum general admission of $20 adults; $15 children (ages 3-17)

Families can see firsthand how the area's natural resources affect their day-to-day lives at the 5th Annual Water Days event. Interactive learning stations led by MOSI educators, community partners, and local experts cover stormwater science, conservation practices, and sustainability in accessible, engaging ways. Water Days also spotlights the region's real environmental challenges, with a focus on the most affected communities. Included with general admission and free for MOSI members, the event features environmental science activities and sustainability-themed giveaways throughout the day.

ZooBrews: Tampa Bay's Wildest Night

  • What: Wildlife, drinks, and live music after dark
  • When: Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • Where: Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park, 1101 W. Sligh Ave., Tampa
  • Cost: $84 general admission member; $94 general admission nonmember; $159 VIP pass

ZooBrews transforms the zoo into an all-inclusive adults-only evening of wildlife, food, unlimited drinks, live music, and games. VIP ticket holders gain early entry at 6:30 p.m., access to exclusive areas, a special wildlife connection, and a unique gift. Organizers encourage attendees to use ride-share services or arrange a designated driver.
