St. Petersburg welcomed 12 new places to eat in 2025. Wine bars, casual spots, and upscale dining all arrived. The city kept expanding its food offerings throughout downtown and nearby neighborhoods.

Elliott Aster launched at The Vinoy at 501 5th Ave. NE. It sits among the city's finest restaurants. Diners can visit for dinner or brunch. Olivia, a modern Italian restaurant by Chef Chris Ponte, opened at 211 1st Ave. N — the chef ran a Tampa location for years before making the move.

The Grand Central District gained Cheeky's at 2823 Central Ave. Seafood and a raw bar anchor the menu. Noble Tavern started serving at 1650 Central Ave. with small plates and drinks. The Violet Stone relocated to 2609 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N, bringing a full dining area and bar.

Downtown attracted several newcomers. Glamper set up at 217 Central Ave., offering beverages and meals. Exquisite Bistro at 397 Fifth St. S started late in 2024 but earned its first write-ups this year.

86 Wine Bar at 2930 Dr. MLK Jr St. N pours wine and serves shared dishes. Coffee Concrete appeared at 2621 Fairfield Ave. S in the Warehouse Arts District — the Sugar Baby team created it. Perry's Porch began operations at 335 2nd Ave. NE at the St. Pete Pier, brewing coffee each morning and serving meals after dark.

Slim Charmer at 2706 Central Ave. came from the Wild Child crew. Cocktails and bar bites fill the menu. You'll need a reservation or you can try walking in.

Some restaurants reopened after hurricane damage hit in 2024. Nicko's Pizza supported other businesses while repairs were underway.
