Snowcat Ridge welcomed guests Friday in Dade City. This spot claims to be Florida's only alpine snow park.

The park runs through the holidays. It's open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days, but you'll need tickets bought ahead of time for set windows.

The big draw? Snowy Slopes — a 60-foot-tall, 400-foot-long snow tubing hill that's hard to miss. You can zip down solo, with a friend, or pile ten people onto one massive tube. A moving sidewalk hauls everyone back up so you can go again.

Step into the Arctic Igloo and you'll find kids building snowmen or launching snowballs at each other. There's a bunny slope tucked away for little ones. Inside temps hover around 30 degrees, so bundle up.

The park also features the Crystal Ribbon ice-skating trail. Alpine Village has food, drinks, and holiday shops scattered around.

When darkness falls, the village transforms. A music and light show kicks in and spreads across the grounds.

Want something more private? The Eskimo Outpost rents out igloos with outdoor seats and fire pits crackling nearby. Beer and wine come with the package.

You can grab two-hour passes or go all-day. Rain or shine, the place stays open through the holidays.
