A new kind of flower shop hits St. Petersburg at 1506 54th Ave. N. The Roaming Petal starts with a quiet launch on Oct. 15, before their big celebration in November.

After two years of mobile service, The Roaming Petal picked this spot for their first store. Working with Arms of Persephone, they've built a space that mixes shopping, learning, and outdoor beauty.

The Roaming Petal said, per I Love the Burg.com, that the magical experience will be “a place where nature, creativity, and calm beautifully come together.”

This isn't your typical flower store. Customers can build their own bouquets, pick single stems, or zip through the drive-thru for quick grabs: a first for the city.

The store keeps its popular mobile classes running while adding new ones at the shop. Students learn bouquet basics, table settings, and seasonal crafts. Fall brings chances to make spooky brooms and pumpkin art, while winter focuses on holiday decorations.

For two years, they've brought flower art to Tampa Bay homes and offices. These mobile classes turned into local hits, drawing crowds who want to try their hand at floral design.

Mark your calendar for the big party on Nov. 4 from 3 to 7 p.m. Guests can sip wine, snack on treats, and watch how to make flower-scented candles. Local sellers will set up shop, music will play, and early birds can snag good deals.

The building splits into three parts: a bright shop full of fresh blooms, a workshop space where creativity flows, and a peaceful garden for visitors to sit and rest.

Want to join the first class during this month's soft opening? Check out what's coming up on The Roaming Petal's website and grab your spot.
