El video ha causado mucha indignación y le ha dado la vuelta al mundo.
Un estudiante de Asheboro High School en Carolina del Norte llevaba encima de su toga una bandera Mexicana durante su graduación y la principal de la escuela se negó a darle el diploma en plena ceremonia y ante todos los asistentes. Por supuesto, las redes sociales se volvieron en contra de la principal y la escuela por lo sucedido. La familia pide justicia y lo llamó un "acto de racismo".
El joven dijo que llevaba la bandera de México para rendirle un homenaje a sus padres y a sus raíces, y nunca imaginó el costo: una ceremonia de graduación arruinada y no recibir su diploma.
