Según WSB-TV en Atlanta, estas arañas gigantescas conocidas como Joro Spiders han sido visto en Georgia. Crecen hasta 5 pulgadas de largo y crean una telaraña de varios pies de alto y ancho.
No son mortales para los humanos, pero una picadura sería doloroso. Expertos dicen que las arañas podrían haber llegado a este país a bordo de cajas enviadas internacionalmente que llegaron a Atlanta.
