En Nueva York, se han reportado tres muertes de menores a causa de una posible complicación a causa de COVID-19.
Recientemente, tanto en Estados Unidos como en Europa, se han detectado casos de menores que padecen síntomas muy parecidos a un síndrome inflamatorio llamado "enfermedad de Kawasaki" y después resultan positivos a la prueba del COVID-19.
Los síntomas en los niños son: Fiebre prolongada, dolor abdominal fuerte y dificultad para respirar.
Los síntomas de la enfermedad de Kawasaki: principalmente Sarpullido, fiebre, dolor abdominal, diarrea, entre otros.
