El sheriff del condado de Hillsborough, Chad Chronister, espera contratar a más de 50 "crossing guards" antes del comienzo del año escolar la próxima semana. Todo esto ya que a principios de año padres protestaron por la seguridad de los estudiantes y el condado está tomando cartas en el asunto.
La oficina del sheriff programó dos eventos para contratar guardias de cruce escolar: el jueves en Hillsborough Community College en Ruskin y el sábado en Leto High School.
