La Policía de Tampa emitió una advertencia por estos ladrones.
Amazon Prime Day es hoy lunes y mañana (15 y 16 de julio), así que la policía le está advirtiendo a la comunidad que seamos igual de cuidadosos con nuestras compras como lo somos durante la Navidad ya que los "Porch Pirates" seguramente regresarán a hacer de la suyas. Aunque Tampa PD estará patrullando cuidando los vecindarios, no pueden estar en todas partes y te recomiendan lo siguiente para evitar ser víctima de estos ladrones.
- Le puedes pedir a tu vecino que recoja el paquete
- No hay confianza con los vecinos? Entonces pide que te entreguen el paquete en tu trabajo.
- Puedes poner un letrero que diga "Warning Video Surveillance" aunque en realidad no lo tengas (para asustarlos)
- Viste algo sospechoso? Repórtalo al (813) 247-8000
Si te vas de vacaciones, Tampa PD también ofrece darle "vueltecitas a tu casa".
