MIAMI, FL - MAY 24: Senior Hurricane specialist Stacy Stewart works at the National Hurricane Center to track the first tropical or subtropical depression of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season on May 24, 2018 in Miami, Florida. The Hurricane center reported that environmental conditions are forecast to become more conducive for development through early next week, and a subtropical or tropical depression is likely to form by late Saturday over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to bring the threat of heavy rain and flash flooding to parts of Florida lasting into next week. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
