SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – JULY 02: Song Jae-man (L) and Christian Schneider (R) hold hands with wedding bands inside a hotel after the wedding ceremony on July 2, 2016 in Seoul, South Korea. Song, 31, a musician who goes by ‘Flash Flood Darlings,’ and Schneider, 33, a Swiss-national who works as a promoter in Seoul for Swiss tech companies and universities, had registered their marriage at a town hall of Zofingen, Switzerland, in June 2, 2016. The couple said they would definitely want their relationship to be registered in South Korea if and when the same sex unions are legally recognized. ‘We want to be visible so that it encourages young queer people in Korea,’ Schneider said. In South Korea, homosexuality is legal, but the same-sex marriage is not recognized as the country remains conservative about the sexual identity. (Photo by Jean Chung/Getty Images)
