Aparentemente Salary.com intentó responder esa pregunta seleccionando diferentes tipos de trabajos que reflejan un "día en la vida de una madre". Como por ejemplo: Consejera Académica, organizadora de eventos, juez, psicóloga, fotógrafa, cocinera, chofer, entre muchos otros. Todo esto los hizo llegar a la conclusión que una ama de casa debería de tener un salario anual de alrededor de 162 mil dólares y que trabajan mas de 90 horas a la semana.
